The Advisory Council, chaired by Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has decided to cancel the public holiday on August 15, originally declared in observance of National Mourning Day, reports UNB.
This decision was announced on Tuesday through an official notification.
According to the press release issued by the Chief Adviser's Office, the cancellation of the August 15 holiday was approved in Tuesday's meeting of the Advisory Council.
The decision follows broad consensus reached during dialogues between the Advisory Council and various political parties.
