Bangladesh has voiced deep concern over the second nuclear test and the launching of a long-range ballistic missile recently by North Korea. "Such action is not conducive to maintaining peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula and East Asia in general," said a Foreign Ministry handout. It said Bangladesh strongly supports stability and peaceful coexistence of neighbours in all regions, and hopes the NNPT, the CTBT and the relevant UN Security Council Resolutions would be adhered to by the parties concerned
in the Korean Peninsula.
