Bank, newspaper holiday Sept 20-22

Bangladesh Bank (BB) and all scheduled banks of the country will remain closed on Sept 18 on the occasion of the holy Shab-e-Qadar and the holy Jum'atul Wida and September 20, 21 and 22 on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Fitr. Meanwhile, the offices of all newspapers and news agencies will remain closed from September 20 to 22 on account of Eid-ul-Fitr. Therefore, there will be no newspaper on September 21, 22 and 23, said a press release of Newspaper Owners' Association of Bangladesh (NOAB). If, however, Eid is celebrated on September 22, holiday will be observed on September 23 as well, in which case no newspaper will be published on September 24.—Agencies
