BB adds 9 more sectors to monthly import statement

The Bangladesh Bank (BB) has added nine more sectors to its monthly import statement, aiming to know the country's actual import trend better. The sectors are telecom, energy and power, ceramic, food processing, steel and engineering, healthy service, ship building, data processing, and mobile phone. "We've included the sectors in our import statement to obtain the sector-wise import figures," a senior official of the central bank said. - FE Report
