Bangladesh reported zero death from Covid-19 and 92 new virus cases on Thursday, according to official data.
The figures were one and 134 respectively on Wednesday.
With the latest daily count, the total fatalities from coronavirus reached 29,118 since the pathogen
was detected first in the country in March 2020.
A total of 12,111 samples were tested against 12,076 collected countrywide during the past 24 hours until 8:00 am on the day.
Some 1,114 cases cured from coronavirus disease in the country during the reporting period in question.
The rate of recovery from Covid-19 was reported at 96.09 per cent on Thursday.
On the other hand, the fatality rate remained static at 1.49 per cent.
Official data shows the total Covid-19 cases have exceeded 1.95 million in Bangladesh and more than 1.87 million of them recovered from the deadly disease.
On the other hand, an estimated 13.76-million samples were tested across the country since the detection of the deadly virus on 08 March 2020.
