BNP, allies observe 7th Nov today

Historic November 7 will be observed today (Sunday) by BNP and its allies and social organisations across the country with due fervour, reports UNB.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will address a rally in front the party's Nayapaltan office at 2:00 pm today (Sunday) marking the day.
The day marks the Jatiya Biplob and Sanghati Dibosh (National Revolution and Solidarity Day) that brought Gen Ziaur Rahman in power.
Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), a component of the ruling Awami League led grand alliance, will observe the day as Sepahi-Janatar Avvuthan Dibosh (Sepahi-Janata Upsurge Day.)
BNP has chalked out 10-day programme beginning from November 3 in observance of the day.
Khaleda along with the party leaders and workers will place wreath and offer fateha at the mazar of Ziaur Rahman, founder of BNP, at 10:00 am. The party flag will be hoisted atop BNP offices all over the country.
JSD will hold discussion at the Shahid Col Taher auditorium at its office at 11:00 am in observance of the Sepahi-Janatar Avvuthan Dibosh. Col Taher Sangsad will form a human chain at Shahbagh at 10:00 am.
