Body to probe ferry fire

MADARIPUR, May 14: The government has formed a five-member committee to investigate the fire incident in a ferry disrupting ferry service on the Mawa-Kawrakandi route for about five hours. Ro-ro ferry Shah Makhdum had caught fire at Hazra turning point on its way to Kawrakandi from Mawa in the early hours of Saturday, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) officials said.
