Dhaka stocks plunge on panic sale
Stocks fell sharply on Wednesday as the jittery investors went for panic-driven sell-offs amid concerns over the country's macroeconomic situation. India's court pauses sedition law
India's Supreme Court has put a controversial colonial-era sedition law on hold that critics say is used to stifle dissent. The judges asked the government to refrain from registering any new cases which invoke sedition until it finishes hearing petitions challenging it. Study on virtual marketplace for RMG
Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) teamed up with LightCastle Partners for conducting a feasibility study - "Establishing a Virtual Marketplace Platform for the RMG sector". In this connection, the BGMEA and LightCastle signed an agreement at the trade-body's Gulshan office in the capital on Wednesday, according to a statement. Page 21
