BSF kills three in three dists

Three Bangladeshi men were shot dead by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Kurigram, Dinajpur and Meherpur districts Friday night and Saturday. In Kurigram, a youth was gunned down by the troops of BSF at Gorokmondol border in Fulbari upazila Saturday morning. Local Naodanga UP chairman said when some youths including Alamgir went near border pillar no 930, BSF troops of Narayanganj camp opened fire on them. In Dinajpur, another youth was shot dead by BSF men along Katla border in Birampur upazila early Saturday. Besides in Meherpur, another man was gunned down by BSF along Gangni frontier in the district on Friday night. - UNB Regional workshop on inflation in city tomorrow A high-level regional training workshop titled "Beyond Inflation Targets: Policy Options and Instruments for Sustaining Growth and Equitable Development" begins in the city Monday.
