Budget session to begin on June 4

President Zillur Rahman has summoned the second session of the 9th parliament at 3.0 pm on June 4. This will be the budget session when the parliament will consider the national budget for fiscal 2009-10. The President summoned the parliament as per Article 72 (1) of the Bangladesh Constitution. Finance Minister AMA Muhith is likely to place the national budget on June 11.
