CA appoints two more special assistants

Chief Adviser of the caretaker government Fakhruddin Ahmed Monday appointed two more special assistants and reallocated portfolios to two of the recently inducted advisers, reports UNB.
The newly appointed Special Assistants to Chief Adviser (CA) are business personality Mahbub Jamil and former Secretary Manik Lal Samaddar. Jamil will enjoy the status of minister while Samaddar of state minister.
Mahbub Jamil has been given charges of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Industries, and Youth and Sports Ministries while Samaddar got Fisheries and Livestock, and Science and Information Communication Technology portfolios.
Meanwhile, the CA assigned Advisers AF Hassan Ariff and Rasheda K Chowdhury to more ministries in the latest reallocation of portfolios Monday after the recent reshuffle of the Council of Advisers.
AF Hassan Ariff, who was in charge of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Religious Affairs Ministries, was also given the charge of Land Ministry.
Rasheda K Chowdhury, who was in charge of Primary and Mass Education, and Women and Children Affairs Ministries, got an additional charge of Cultural Affairs Ministry, said an official announcement.
