SAVAR, Nov 30: A clash between officials and workers over a trivial matter has left at least five injured in a garment factory in Narashinghapur, Savar. A minor argument between a production manager and a worker turned into a fight at Meddler Apparels Limited in Narashinghapur around 11am Tuesday. With the fight taking a serious turn, more people got involved and a clash ensued. The injured were given first aid at a nearby clinic. However, the rest of the workers broke into a protest on hearing of the clash. Later, the police came to the spot to control the situation and the factory was declared shut for the day. — bdnews24.com
