Coco-4 rescue called off, 85 dead

BHOLA, Dec 3: Rescue operations of the Bhola launch tragedy were called off Thursday, with the death toll reaching 85. The search for bodies was halted Wednesday night after the MV Coco-4 partially capsized in the Tentulia River at Lalmohon on November 27. Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan was quoted as saying that each of the bereaved families would receive Tk 30,000 from the government. — bdnews24.com
