DCC ward commissioner Salu arrested

A wanted ward commissioner of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) was arrested by RAB from his hideout in Maghbazar area of the capital Saturday. The Rapid Action Battalion personnel also reportedly seized a licensed shotgun, 38 illegal bullets and two bottles of foreign liquor during a search of the house of Salimullah Salu, commissioner of Ward No-42 in Mohammadpur area. RAB sources said, acting on a tip-off, a team of the special Anti-crime force raided a flat at Daktar Goli of Maghbazar at about 4:00pm and arrested Salu.
