Declaring manpower export as thrust sector in the offing

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry at a meeting Sunday discussed the possibility of declaring manpower export as a thrust sector. An official release said the committee also focussed on the draft rules and regulations for establishing a special bank for the expatriates. — BSS
