Dengue claims four more lives

The mosquito-borne dengue fever claimed four more lives in the past 24 hours until Monday morning, taking the total fatalities to 37 this year.
Newly 345 dengue patients were also hospitalised across the country during the period, as a result total dengue patients reached to 9,095 in the calendar, as per official data.
In its daily bulletin, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said 228 of the total new patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while the remaining 117 were admitted to healthcare facilities in other regions.
Currently 1,112 dengue patients are getting treatment in the hospitals including 853 in Dhaka city.
Some 7,946 dengue patients have been released from hospitals after treatment.
With the latest figures, fatalities from Dengue in September reached to 16. August reported 11 deaths, July nine and June one death.
