The government has banned two medicines for children manufactured by Rid Pharmaceutical Ltd, Temset (Paracetamol) Suspension and Ridaplex Syrup, ordering destruction of all existing stocks of these. The ban came as the drugs were proven to be substandard and harmful, said an emergency notice released by the government Sunday.
