Dhaka to get Tk 1.30b Japanese grant

Bangladesh will get Tk 1.30 billion (130 crore) Japanese grant assistance for implementing three development projects. These are: Improvement of the Storm Water Drainage System in Dhaka City (Phase-II), Human Resources Development Scholarships (JDS) and Establishment of the Meteorological Radar System at Moulvibazar. Three different agreements on the Japanese Grant Assistance amounting to 2,213 million Yen (approximately Tk 130 crore) will be signed between Bangladesh and Japan today (Tuesday). — UNB
