DMP urges banks to adopt special security measures

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Wednesday requested banks and other financial institutions to adopt a six-point security measure to avert any unpleasant incident. The security measures include setting up CC TV and metal detectors, appointment of a security officer and deployment of sentry or guard at strategic points and making arrangement for depositing clients' mobile phones before entering inside any bank. â€”UNB
