Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah handing over the award to Dr Muhammad Yunus — Yunus Centre Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus has received the 2014 Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Global Entrepreneurship Award, reports UNB.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Centennial Fund (TCF) and Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah handed over the award to Dr Muhammad Yunus in Saudi Arabia on Monday, said a release issued by the Yunus Centre on Thursday.
TCF board member and General Manager Dr Abdulaziz H Al-Mutairi and Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud attended the award giving ceremony.
A number of ministers, high officials, heads of banks, social organisations, academics and business leaders from Arab countries, Europe and the USA were also present.
