DU to appoint two acting Deans

Dhaka University Vice Chancellor SMA Faiz Wednesday said the Syndicate will sit in its meeting to discuss reopening of the university after appointment of two acting deans to the Faculties of Social and Biological Sciences. The two posts are now vacant as Social Sciences Faculty Dean Harun-or-Rashid and Biological Sciences Faculty Dean Dr Anwar Hossain were arrested following the Aug 20-22 student unrest on the campus. â€”UNB
