A moderate earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was felt in Dhaka just after Thursday midnight, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said Friday. The tremor, which struck at 28.15 seconds past twelve (BST), had its epicentre near Bhutan, 458 kilometres north-northeast of the BMD Seismic Centre at Agargaon in the city.
