Enraged man kills girl, injures 6 in Old Dhaka

An enraged man went berserk stabbing everyone within reach in the old part of the city Saturday, leaving a minor girl dead and six others critically injured. The deceased was identified as Meghat Ferdous Mahia (4), daughter of Rahat Hossain of Murgitola area under Sutrapur police station. Witnesses said Faruq went wild at about 4:00pm and stabbed seven people who came in his way. — UNB
