Ex-MP Shamsuzzoha Khan arrested

NAOGAON, Sept 13: Former MP of BNP Shamsuzzoha Khan was arrested from the town today. Police said he was picked up from in front of the court premises at 5-30 pm. Superintendant of Police (SP) Sarder Nurul Amin said anti-crime regional committee of Bogra and local law enforcers jointly arrested Khan under the emergency rules. He was soon handed over to the police. Khan, former MP from Naogaon-2 constituency, was wanted in a number of cases. —UNB
