Ex-Rab officials to be arrested soon : N\\\'ganj SP

NARAYANGANJ, May 16 (UNB) : Narayanganj police super Dr Khandaker Muhid Uddin Friday said they received the letter from the Police Headquarters to arrest the sacked Rab officials in the seven-murder case.
"We're working relentlessly to implement the High Court order. You can soon see the efforts of police to arrest the two dismissed Rab officials," he said while talking to reporters at his office at noon.   The SP said they received the letter from the Police Headquarters to arrest former Rab officials Lt Col Tarek Sayeed Mahmud and Maj Arif  Hossain of Rab-11.
However, they are yet to receive any directive regarding ex Rab official Lt Commander MM Rana of Rab-11 who was drawn from Bangladesh Navy.
The three Rab officials were sent on forced retirement following the allegations of their involvement in the killing of seven people, including Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam and senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarker.
Muhid also said no criminal will be spared in the sensational case.  Meanwhile, police have filed a case against Nur Hossain, the prime accused in the sensational seven-murder case, in connection with the recovery of firearms at his house on Thursday's night.  
Sub-inspector of Siddhirganj Police Station Masududdin Khan lodged the case against Nur Hossain, also former vice-president of Siddhirganj thana unit of Awami League, under explosive substances act.
