Foreign currency worth Tk 32m recovered at airport

A cabin crew of Biman foiled bid to smuggle out foreign currency worth about Tk 32.4 million at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport prior to take off of the Malaysia-bound flight Saturday evening. Security officials of the airport told UNB that the cabin crew of Biman Bangladesh Airlines informed Biman security men about a passenger identified as Nahid for his suspicious movement just after he boarded the BG-086 flight at about 6:15pm. The aircraft was scheduled to fly for Malaysia at about 6:00 pm. - BSS.
