Four deals signed

SEOUL, May 18 (UNB): Bangladesh and South Korea signed four deals including on Economic Development Fund Loan and Energy Cooperation between the two countries.
Agreement on the Economic Development Fund loan and a MoU on the energy cooperation were signed Tuesday noon at the end of the summit talks between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and South Korean President Lee Myung-bak at the President office. The two leaders witnessed the signing of the deals.
Commerce Minister Faruk Khan and Korean Minister for Foreign and Trade You Myang Hwan signed the Economic Development Fund Loan while Foreign Secretary Mijarul Quayes and Korean Vice-Minister for Knowledge and Economy Kim Yong-hak signed the MoU on the Energy Cooperation.
On Monday the two countries signed an agreement on cultural exchange programme and a MoU on the environment protection.
