Four ship-breaking workers injured in Sitakunda

CHITTAGONG, Dec 30: At least four ship-breaking workers were wounded as a heavy iron-plate fell on them while at work in Baro Aulia area of Sitakunda Upazila Wednesday. Sources said the heavy iron-plate collapsed on a group of workers at Unique Traders Ltd. ship-breaking yard as they were scrapping the plate at about 2:00 pm. OC Sitakundu confirmed the incident and said the injured have been hospitalised. — UNB
