Gas pipeline leaks near Salehpur bridge

SAVAR, Oct 11: A leakage in gas pipeline beneath the bridge at Salehpur is causing uninterrupted emission of gas near Aminbazar in Savar. Bubbles of gas are sprouting out through water since Monday morning, witnesses said. A Savar-bound bus with over 50 passengers had plunged into Turag river around 11.30am on Sunday near the Salehpur bridge. The leakage on the pipeline could be related to the bus accident. —bdnews24.com
