Govt to import rice, wheat, sugar

The government will import 50,000 tonnes of wheat, 50,000 tonnes of boiled rice and 12,500 tonnes of sugar to meet the domestic requirements. Cabinet Committee on Public Purchase at a meeting at NEC Bhaban with Finance Minister AMA Muhith Sunday approved a number of tender proposals in this connection. - UNB
