Govt to rename UNOs as MNOs

The Cabinet Monday decided in principle to rename the Upazila Nirbahi Officers (UNOs) as Mukhya Nirbahi Officers (MNOs) having same executive authority and status. Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Minister Syed Ashraful Islam told this the reporters at his office after the cabinet meeting. — UNB
