Hasina urges Greece to invest in Bangladesh

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged Greece Thursday to invest in Bangladesh, availing of congenial investment facilities, reports UNB.
She also requested her Greece counterpart for taking more steps for ensuring the welfare of Bangladeshi expatriates living in his country.
The Prime Minister made the request during a meeting with Greece Prime Minister Antinios Samaras on the sidelines of the 10th ASEM summit at the Bangladesh meeting room of Milan Congress on Thursday noon (Milan time), according to a message received here.
Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque briefed reporters after the meeting, and said both leaders had talks in a very warm and cordial atmosphere.
Hasina also underscored the importance of enhancing trade and commerce with Greece for the mutual benefits of the two countries.
