HSC exam results today

The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published today (Wednesday).
Chief information officer of the Ministry of Education (MOE) Subodh Chandra Dhali said the results will be published at 1.00pm across the country.
Mr Dhali said Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will disclose details of the results through a press conference at about 1:00pm at the secretariat building in the city on the day.
The official informed that Mr Nahid along with chairmen of the 10 education boards will hand over copies of the results sheets to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at about 10am.
Apart from the examination centers, students also could know their results through internet that will be available on www.educationboardresults.gov.bd after 1.30 pm.
Students also can get their result by sending SMS to 16222 with text 'HSC' followed by a space then first 3 letters of the respective education board another space then roll number followed by space again then '2014'.
For instance: hsc dha 123456 2014 and send to 16222.
This year, nearly 1,141,374 students appeared in the country's one of the largest public examinations. Some 9,24,171 students under the eight general education boards while 1,07,557 students under the Madrasah Education Board, 104669 students under the Technical Education Board and only 4977 students under the DIBS participated in the examinations.
A total of 25 subjects including Bangla first paper examinations were held under the creative question method.
