Imtiaz Ahmed made envoy to Sweden

The government has appointed Imtiaz Ahmed, currently serving as Bangladesh ambassador to Nepal, as the next Bangladesh ambassador to Sweden. He will replace Muhammad Azizul Haque, said a foreign ministry press statement Monday. Ahmed joined Foreign Service in 1986. He had served in Bangladesh missions in Washington, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Rome, and Egypt before joining as the high commissioner to Nepal. — bdnews24.com
