Inamul Bari new air force chief

Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Inamul Bari has been appointed chief of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) with effect from June 16. He will replace Air Marshal Shah Md Ziaur Rahman. An ISPR release quoting a Defence Ministry circular issued Wednesday said that Air Vice Marshal Inamul Bari will be promoted to Air Marshal before his appointment as the Chief of Air Staff of BAF Tuesday noon. Incumbent air force chief Air Marshal Shah Md Ziaur Rahman will retire as Chief of Air Staff the same day. --UNB
