Indian national held with 3kg gold at Dhaka airport

Customs Friday morning detained an Indian citizen along with 3 kilograms of gold worth about Tk 13 million (1.30 crore) from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city, reports BSS.  
"We arrested one Mohesh Kumar, an Indian national from the Green Channel area of the airport and seized 3-kg gold after scanning his luggage around 11 in the morning," assistant commissioner of customs Farid Al Mamun said. Mohesh came to Dhaka by a flight (FZ-582) from Dubai this morning, he said, adding that he visited Bangladesh several times.  Filing of a case under Special Powers Act is underway.
