Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain Friday demanded publication of a white paper on corruption-suspects and mischief, reports UNB.

"We want a white paper on suspected corrupt. All the charge sheets submitted so far before the court must be made public so that people can clearly know them," he told an extended meeting of the Jubo Gono Forum central committee at its office.

Dr Kamal, who is an exponent of establishment of healthy politics freeing it from money and muscle power, said some quarters are trying to put pressure on the government on behalf of those corrupt facing trials.

"People haven't given any licence to any political party to commit corruption but they did it repeatedly," he said.

The Gono Forum leader said the government is facing a test of honesty. Fifteen crore people are with the government and the national interest should be given the first priority. People do no longer want to see the old faces.

Meanwhile, Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) president Ferdous Ahmed Qureshi criticised the way Sheikh Hasina was released.

At a press conference at PDP office Friday, he questioned how the government could release Sheikh Hasina who is facing corruption cases.

He also wondered how four Advisers visited Sheikh Hasina's Sudha Sadan residence to hold dialogue and the Chief Adviser talked to her over telephone.
