Dr Moyeen Khan who briefed reporters about the outcome of the meeting said they had discussions over the current situation of democracy in the country. "She told Modi democracy is now absent in Bangladesh."
He said Khaleda at first affirmed Modi of the current political situation of Bangladesh. "The discussion was held in a very cordial atmosphere. Issues relating to the mutual interests of the two countries came up for discussion at the meeting."
