The High Court (HC) has rejected BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's request to quash the charges against her in the Zia Charitable Trust and Zia Orphanage Trust graft cases, reports bdnews24.com.
The bench of Justices Borhanuddin and KM Kamrul Kader gave the order on Wednesday after hearing the review petition filed on grounds that the charges were not framed 'properly'.
On March 19, Dhaka's Special Judge Basudev Roy indicted Khaleda Zia in the Zia Orphanage Trust and Zia Charitable Trust graft cases.
