Kidnapped student rescued from Ashulia

Ashulia police Monday rescued a school student from Gazirchat area under Savar, who was abducted from Paikpara in Mirpur for ransom Sunday. Md Monwar Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ashulia Police Station, said Mosaddeq Hossain alias Pias, 16, a student of class ten and son of Abdul Aziz, was taken to Savar National Mausoleum for a visit by one of his distant relatives Nure Alam. But, Nure Alam along with two of his accomplices Mustafzur Rahman Fizu, 25, and Mahmud Hassan Mithu, 27, tactfully took Pias to a house at Gazirchat and held him hostage. — BSS
