Law Commission chief resigns

Law Commission Chairman Justice Mohammad Abdur Rashid has resigned. The resignation letter was received by the law ministry Tuesday. Justice Rashid's letter of October 6 stated that the reasons for his resignation were personal. Rashid took office as the Commission's chairman on April 21, 2009 following his retirement as a High Court judge on January 26, 2009.
