The college authorities took the decision at a emergency meeting Saturday afternoon, according to sources.
Fifteen students were injured after police charged batons on the students at Zigatala who blockaded road to press for their six-point demand. The students also retaliated.
Sources said over 250 students of the college blockaded the road for over an hour in sprawling Dhanmadi area to press for their demands including brining down fees.
The students damaged five vehicles and some roadside shops. The protests caused severe traffic congestion on the road.
