The city development authorities have already allotted around 2,275 plots in two phases, on September 17 and October 10 this year, under its Purbachal project through computerised draw.
On November 4, the lot tery for the rest of the residential plots of Purbachal project, which accommodates a total of around 6,383 plots, would be held at a ceremony at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital, Rajuk officials said Thursday.
The lottery of the Uttara project, which houses around 870 plots, would also be held on the same day at the same venue, a Rajuk official told the FE.
The official said the winners would be picked from applicants mainly in autonomous body people and journalists categories.
However, the winners in MPs, government and semi-government officials and armed forces categories would be chosen on November 15, said the official without elaborating.
Meanwhile State Minister for Housing and Public Works Abdul Mannan Khan has already said the civil servants would be awarded plots on the basis of their service age, experience and salary scale.
In the first phase of the lottery of Purbachal project, Rajuk picked up around 1,100 winners in judges, freedom fighters, artistes, sports persons and expatriates categories.
In the second phase lottery, 1,175 plots were allocated among candidates in businessmen-industrialists, private service holders and lawyers categories.
Meanwhile, Rajuk said the application form for withdrawal of deposited money is available free at selected branches of Sonali, Agrani and Janata banks, Citibank NA and Standard Chartered Bank in the city.
The form is also available on the Rajuk website.

Last November, Rajuk sought applications in 12 categories including MPs, justices, journalists, government service holders, autonomous body people, armed forces, artistes, sportsmen, businessmen and private service holders.
Around 157,000 people applied for the residential plots in various categories under the projects.
