Lotus Kamal made BCB president

AHM Mostafa Kamal MP, popularly known as Lotus Kamal, has been appointed president of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). He has replaced Lt Gen Sina Ibn Jamali, a BCB statement said Wednesday. Lotus Kamal, a senior figure in the ruling Awami League, assumed the office as BCB president Wednesday morning. Lt General Jamali was earlier appointed BCB president by the then army-backed interim government in August 2007. The government appoints the BCB president while 24 directors are elected by BCB members. — UNB
