Machine readable passports from April next: Sahara

Home Minister Sahara Khatun Thursday categorically said distribution of machine readable passports would begin from April next year. She disclosed it while visiting the city's Agargaon passport office. Once the MRP is introduced, the home minister said, the Bangladeshi passports would be more credible abroad, reducing the harassment of Bangladeshi expatriates. — UNB
