Malaysian plane with 295 aboard shot down

A Malaysian airliner with 295 people aboard was shot down over Ukraine, the country's interior minister said Thursday, reports the New York Post.
The Boeing 777 crashed near the Russian border, according to the AP.
The Interfax News Agency said the flight MH17 was traveling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.
