Mamata Banerjee arrived in city Thursday night. It is her first Dhaka visit since she became chief minister of West Bengal in May 2011. An 'Air India' plane carrying her entourage that includes ministers, eminent cultural, business and media personalities landed at Shahjalal International Airport at around 9pm Thursday. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam received her at the airport.
