Mamata to be sworn in as West Bengal CM today

Mamata Banerjee is to be sworn in as the first woman Chief Minister(CM) of West Bengal on Friday. Some 43 ministers will also take their oath. Mamata Banerjee on Thursday resigned as the Union Minister of Railways and Mukul Roy is likely to be made the Minister of State of Railways Mamata who will be the eleventh CM of the state, will be administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor M K Narayanan on the southwest lawn of the 208-year-old Raj Bhavan. The swearing-in will take place at a ceremony in presence of 3200 invitees as per the wishes of the Trinamool supremo. Congress is likely to join the Mamata Banerjee government. -Internet
