Police pressed formal charges against 24 people, including Aysha Siddika Minni, over the daylight murder of her husband Rifat Shorif in Barguna, reports bdnews24.com.
The state has also appealed against her conditional bail granted by the High Court.
Barguna Sadar Police Inspector Md Humayun Kabir filed the charge-sheet in the court on Sunday, the district's Superintendent of Police Md Maruf Hossain said in a statement.
Meanwhile, an FE Report adds: the government filed a petition with the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Sunday seeking stay on the High Court judgement that granted bail to Aysha Siddika Minni in the case filed over her husband Rifat Sharif's murder in Barguna.
The Chamber Judge of the Appellate Division Justice Hasan Foez Siddique may hear the petition today (Monday).
Earlier on Sunday morning, the High Court released the full text of its judgement that granted bail to Aysha Siddika Minni.
