Minor girl tortured to death

BRAHMANBARIA, June 23: A minor girl died allegedly due to torture by her parents at Dulabari village in Nabinagar Upazila Saturday. Police said Bishwa Rishi and his wife Mala Rishi used to torture their daughter Seema Rishi (8) over family feud. Seema died early Saturday at one stage of torture by her parents. Following the incident, local people caught the couple and handed over them to police after beating them up. —UNB
